Battery banks are batteries connected in series to power emergency systems. However, the batteries present individual voltage differences, causing some to not charge fully while others are over charged. The result is early deterioration and system compromise. Equalizer System – Active Battery Equalization
The Equalizer System is an individual active battery equalization solution, developed and manufactured in Brazil by CM Linear Commands. Each battery receives a module, connected to a controller, to the Central Master Controller. The control unit supervises the final voltage and controls the modules, regulating and guaranteeing the same voltage on each battery.
This voltage control eliminates the negative effect of the overload and allows the batteries to reach 100% of their life. Depending on the battery type, the durability can double. In addition, the system sends alarms before any failures occur, reducing downtime and increasing reliability.
